We've broken these down into 4 categories to help you.  Here's a brief description of each:-

MIDI FILES:   These files can be played on any MIDI compatible instrument, computer, tablet, phone or player.  They are complete songs with melodies and backing tracks often with embedded lyrics and/or chord symbols which can be displayed on the screen.  Many instruments have the facility to display the notation and lyrics and with the 'Minus One' feature the melody line can be turned off, alllowing you to play the solo yourself.    MIDI files have the flexibility to adjust sounds, tempo, transpose and turn on or off the various tracks.  Exact functionality will depend on your instrument or player's capability and the information contained in the MIDI file.
